Pope Leo XIV: 'Peace be with all of you'

We pray that the Holy Spirit may strengthen our new Pope to lead the Church with wisdom, courage and compassion.


In his first words as pontiff, Pope Leo XIV greeted the world invoking peace and continued: “We have to look together how to be a missionary Church, building bridges, dialogue, always open to receiving with open arms for everyone, like this square, open to all, to all who need our charity, our presence, dialogue, love.”
