From maintenance to mission...
From pew to participation...

Our cluster is on a mission.  Before he ascended back to the Father Jesus left all of us a mission:
"... to make disciples of all nations..." That's our calling as Christians and here's how you can get involved.

Divine Renovation -
what's it all about?

Divine Renovation is about moving our faith communities:
  • from a position where we operate as a Church maintaining what we have,
  • to reaching out to fulfil our Baptismal calling to be Missionary Disciples.
Fr Mike and Fr Alex are continuing the process of selection and formation of a Leadership Team. They ask us to pray that wisdom and discernment will be poured out on them in abundance. The selection and formation of a Leadership Team is fundamental to our journey from maintenance to mission and will give a firm foundation to all that follows.

Invitation to Prayer Foundation Launch Day: It is vitally important that during this time of transition we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength on our journey from a maintenance church to a missionary church. Everybody in our Cluster is warmly invited to join us on Sunday 2 December, anytime between 2pm and 5pm in St Catherine’s Church for a time of prayer and
reflection. You can come for as long or as short a period of time as suits you. Leaflets with this information will be handed out after each Mass this weekend.

We plan to hold our first Cluster Assembly and one part of this vitally important gathering will be sharing our plans for the following five years for our Cluster of faith communities. See separate item in newsletter for more information.
Please keep praying for the success of Divine Renovation in our cluster parishes. There are prayer cards at the back of each of our churches.

ALPHA courses are finished for the moment.
There will be fresh opportunities in the New Year!
