Contemplative Prayer Groups
In his homily Fr Mike spoke about us having an interior and an exterior self and the importance of silence and stillness to help us find our hidden selves. Contemplative or wordless prayer gives us the opportunity to
take time out for silence and stillness to listen to God.
take time out for silence and stillness to listen to God.
There are 2 ecumenical contemplative prayer groups that meet every week,:
one on Tuesday afternoon
from 2.40 to 3.30
at Liberton Kirk Halls in the Upper Room
and one at Rosemary Bayne’s home, Mount Alvernia,
at 7.00 on Wednesday evening.
Everyone is welcome.
