Cluster Community Lunch

Community Lunch:
Visit from SP Energy Networks’ Social Obligations Team
As you may know our Open Door free lunch (and a warm space) for the community is available every Monday in the hall at St Catherine’s. Doors open at 11.30am and lunch is served from 12 to 1pm.
On Monday 6 March 2023, members of the Social Obligations Team at SP Energy Networks are coming along to tell us about the help and services they provide.
They are able to sign people up to their Priority Service Register, which provides support for vulnerable people in the unlikely event of a power cut. They are also able to sign people up for referral to their various partners, who provide such support as “help to keep your home warm”, “Home fire safety visits”, “help and supports with benefits” “Support for those living with Dementia”, “Carer Support” etc. All of their services are free of charge, and no one at anytime will ask for money. Their Energy Efficiency partner also operates replacement boiler scheme, replacement white goods and even has air fryers to give out.
These are challenging time for everybody. You, or somebody you know, may benefit from one or more of the services this team offers. You are warmly invited to come along and find out more on Monday 6 March, even if you do not usually come along to the community lunch.
It is important to finish by adding that they provide services to everybody, irrespective of who your energy provider is.
