Keeping our community and faith life alive and active without physically coming together
Over the past week we have become aware of wonderful initiatives that are taking place across our faith communities and we want to share some of them here.
Those involved in our Music Ministry have been thinking about hymns that mean something to them and sharing what they mean. In the second of the series, Sr Christine Triay writes about “God of the poor” by Graham Kendrick.

"My reason for liking this hymn is that I would love us to sing it at Mass since it calls us to live out the Gospel imperative of Social Justice and describes the nature of God as revealed in Jesus Christ and begs God to change our hearts constantly in order to live out these calls.
The music we use in our liturgical celebrations can change our hearts and move us to action.
Love to you all and keep safe and well."

Our Prayer Foundation would like to invite us all to be united (in spirit) in prayer on Tuesdays at 2.45pm and Wednesdays at 7pm. A small group has been meeting regularly for 30 minutes of silent prayer at these times. Some of the Prayer Foundation have been ‘doing’ this for the past couple of weeks and thought it would be good to invite everyone in our cluster and beyond (who wishes to do so) to be united in prayer during this time of separation and isolation.
If there is anything you are aware of that is happening and you would like to share it here, let us know.
