Questions for reflection
(framed for a group discussion)
The good news for us as baptised Christians is that our seed of faith has fallen on soil. The question then becomes what makes the difference in the soil that produces 100 times as opposed to 60 or 30?
We would not think much of the farmer who went into the fields once every week and largely ignored it the rest of the time. What crops would come of that?
Being disciplined; being a disciple... (These words have the same ROOT - pun intended!)
- How can we make the Word of God yield greater results in our lives?
- How might that seed be nourished on a regular basis to grow strong?
Being disciplined; being a disciple... (These words have the same ROOT - pun intended!)
- Could we find the time to read regularly the upcoming gospel every day and spend ten minutes reflecting on it and perhaps discussing it with others?
