After you have watched our Prayer Resources we would encourage you to sit and reflect quietly on what the Word of God is saying to you this weekend. The questions below are simply suggestions but if you find them helpful then use them.
As we are set to be away from our church buildings for some time yet, we would ask you to consider the idea of forming small groups
which can meet over the internet (or 1 to 1 over the phone) and share your thoughts and feelings about God's Word from any of the resources you have watched. We can put you in touch with a group should you want that. Please email us.

Questions for reflection.
(Framed for a group discussion but can be reflected on individually)
- At the end of each day this week, review when you were thinking or speaking negatively. Wait patiently for a more positive way of seeing things to come into your head.
Think of this as a good detox diet for the soul. - We ask our children to “say no to drugs” and encourage them not to give in to peer pressure. Recall a time when you were swayed by your peers to think or act against your best instincts.
- Today’s gospel could start: “Don’t be intimidated!
For years, the Church did not so much seek our opinions, as value our obedience.
Take one view you hold that is controversial in the faith community. Write a defence of this view based on the gospel message and your life experience. Discuss it with others and listen carefully to their responses.
