Pastoral care and the hospital

The name of any Catholic being admitted to hospital should be given to

• Jacqui du Rocher (Tel: 242 1995)

  Chaplain Coordinator at the Royal Infirmary.

In her absence, names should be given to:

• Ann Aitchison (Tel: 242 1990).

They will arrange for the person to receive pastoral care.

The relevant parish priest and/or parish coordinator should also be informed:

• St Catherine’s parishioners should contact Fr Mike and/or Sr Mary (664 1596).
• St Gregory’s parishioners should contact Fr Jock (658 1793) and/or Maureen Wallbanks (258 1802).
• St John Vianney’s parishioners should contact Fr Jock and/or Sr Ninian (658 1793).

If a person would like to receive the anointing of the sick before entering hospital, please contact:

If admitted to hospital in an emergency there will be an on-call priest that the hospital chaplain will be able to contact.
