This is a special religious education programme for those in our communities who have learning difficulties – children as well as adults.
It started in our diocese in 1977 and there are now eleven groups, each consisting of fourteen people – six catechists, six friends, an activity catechist and a leader. The group follows a structured programme based on scripture. There are several catechists from our parish working with the SPRED groups.
